To studyThe pilot study of 20 patients was designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of BACE device, a less invasive cardiac outside the heart and outside the heart and supports the weakened ventricular muscle during the treatment of heart valve dysfunction. Judge the only device with moderate to severe ischemic mitral regurgitation underwent implantation with BACE , along with coronary artery bypass grafting on a beating heart, surgery seven of them without a heart-lung machine. Three patients had left ventricular reconstructive surgery. One patient died of complications related to insertion of a mechanical holding device which has been placed in front of the operation. No device-related adverse events were reported in the study.
