Sinai Hospital . Normal bone density, osteopenia and osteoporosis: Study participants were classified into three groups according the first measure BMD. Patients with osteopenia and osteoporosis were then randomized to calcium and vitamin D supplementation or etidronate plus calcium and vitamin D supplementation groups.
